Was it discussed here that UR portal price is often higher than airline direct? (If so, please link me to that discussion)

Family member of mine booked 7 flights (United EWR-TLV) at a ~$90 premium per ticket a couple months ago, and I'm having the same problem now.
Can it be matched beforehand? After? Never? (If never, the whole "1.5x redemption value" is a bit of a sham)

Works both ways, I’ve found cheap flights there not available elsewhere as well.

Any way to transfer Chase ink reward pojnts to a Airline. I only have the ink card and it was just closed

What do you mean? If you only have 1 Chase UR card, and you closed that card, doesn't that mean that you lost the points?

Regarding UR point transfers to household members - can one combine points to multiple household members? If only one at a time, can I make one household account, and then remove it and make a different household account?

Officially only one family member living in the same house as you. Just a warning, too many people combining has led to shutdowns in the past.

Transferred 40k from UR - Air Canada. It's been 24 hours and still hasn't come thru on my Air Canada account.

PSA - I visited a Chase branch today, and the INK Preferred spending requirement has been lowered to 8K instead of 15K for the same 100K points. The rep said he thinks it was recently lowered. I hope that means this will soon be available online with referral. Deciding if I should take the chance and wait.

In my experience patience for this has always paid off, it might be 2 weeks though if I remember correctly. Obviously if the spending won’t work then, it’s not worth it to wait.

Old accounts are instant even more then 99K, New accounts take 1-3 days regardless of the amount IME.

Add yourself as a household member on your spouse account.

I am trying to book the Banyan Tree Mayakoba with Chase UR points.

For some reason, when trying to book it with CSR at 1.5% it does not allow me to book, but when booking through ink at 1.25% it does allow me to book.
It seems that because this is a luxury property, Chase removed it from being bookable with CSR, and placed it under the "Luxury Hotel & Resort Collection" which is not bookable with points.

Can someone advise if this is a glitch or this is by design?

(Yes, I called Chase and they also could not book via phone under the CSR at 1.5%)

Not sure, but with free switches, I book a flight that cost the same amount in the future and than switch to the flight I want.

Can spouses refer each other for chase or amex cards.
If yes, should one be worried when sharing the same UR account (pooling points together)
