Never had a good experience either it doesnt get the job done well or stinks so bad I cant put it back into the car. Any reccomandations? tips?

I usually buy something like this at the nearest walmart near where I'm heading toivel the grate in a lake or something and chuck it when I'm done. It's much easier than shlepping.
(I can't find it, but they usually have a similar one for about $18 in the store, I can't seem to find it online right now)

What snapit linked to at Walmart is reusable. He was just saying since it was cheap enough he doesnt need to worry about bringing it home. But yes, it is reusable.

Buy any grill, I do not think you would want to put in the car after.

The problem with any of these for continuing travel is it needs time to cool off you can use any of the above if you can hose it down after use and buy heavy duty garbage bags to put it in cause it will mess up ur car otherwise

Tip: After you are done, bungee cord it to the top or back of the car on the outside. Don't put it inside your car.

I have a portable gas grill. Usually when I take it on a trip it's kept in my roof-top carrier so smell isn't an issue. I did have it inside my car a few times, I don't remember smell being an issue then...

I usually keep mine in a garbage bag. I've found it only needs a few minutes to cool off after use, I've never needed to use water to cool it off. I usually use regular (not heavy duty) garbage bags and it hasn't been a problem.

You can but these for 5 bucks each at your local grocery

It won't cook well unless the top of the grill closes. This doesn't have a top....

+1. I personally have had hard times on all these little disposable ones. Cant cook enough. Doesn't cook fully
