I'm not sure what the general consensus are regarding how to go about picture choice, but I will share my (meager) experience. The first time I tried to put together a book I uploaded all the pictures I had of the event and tried to choose the best ones in shutterfly's website. To say the least, I did not end up finishing that book...  :(
The next time I came around to it I created a separate folder on my computer, reviewed all my pictures in the original folder and transferred the ones I liked to the new folder. Once I was done with my selection I just uploaded the entire new folder to shutterfly, and voila!  :)
One of the most beneficial parts I found with this is the zoom and pan that's easier in my computer than online. At that stage I also doctored any images I felt needed the tweaks, and only transferred the final version.
Correct. That's is the easiest way. I've given up on 3 occasions. Only once did I complete. DW whereas....
I came to the conclusion that the average male doesn't have the called for patience. Next time I'm going to do random pick.

Can I ask what the green sky is all about? Is that a real sky or was that some photo-shoped  pictures?
Please tell me you're just trolling and that wasn't a real question.

This book took me around 4 hours to make, so not too bad. But yeah... If I had the time I wound't be 4 TRs and 6 books behind :(.

If you look at the project as a whole, you're right. I allocate a certain amount of time every day/week that I know to focus just on that. It takes time and you won't necessarily see the light at the end of the tunnel any time soon; but you'll surely get there.

Look at this book. When did the trip take place? So just because it was that long ago the book becomes irrelevant?

4 hours on top of this TR. How much longer do you think it would've been if you had started from scratch?

Lol, true.

The pictures needed sorting and editing regardless. The TR is just a good catalyst to actually do it.

Yes. I have this dream of a sukkah with wall to wall panos, maybe even one giant 360-degree one.

One day...

No, for something like that I'd go and shoot it purposely. I will be bringing a 360 camera on future trips, but that'll be a GoPro-type thing.
