SPG Platinums with 50 nights get 10 confirmed suite night awards.

If you know which rooms are an option for a suite night award please add it to the Wiki.

Booked a C+P room at the Gritti Palace Venice 2 days prior to arrival.
SNA request was fulfilled within 25 minutes to the Sestiere suite. Flex rate for the suite was €2,245.

Booked at award room at W Montreal 2 months prior to arrival.
SNA request was fulfilled 5 days prior to arrival to the Fantastic suite. Flex rate for the suite was C$385+tax.

To find out which suites are available for SNA, all you need to do is make a refundable booking and you'll see the upgrade options.

Seems like a waste to use in Montréal if you can get the Gritti Palace value.

I see Dan mentioned the Lifestyle Suite at SLS LA. Has anyone seen/stayed in that suite. It looks very strange. Basically a specialized work-out gym inside a suite.

Generally speaking its at Luxury Collection hotels where you get the best bang. at many properties where there are decent rate base rooms, they include suite upgrades into the thousands.

And got upgraded further complimentary to a Serenissima Suite! Flex rate for the suite was €3,045.   :D :D :D

ETA - no idea why the pics are so big. Take them as they are for now. Anyone can fix them if there is a way. For some reason my laptop will not recognise my SD card so I took pics with my phone, however the room was a bit messed up already... Though I can assure you that even with these nebby pics you're not going back to the Westin on your next Venice visit  ;)

As far as how it went, I just said "Hi, I am currently booked in a suite, last time I was upgraded in this case to a Heritage suite, anything you can do for me to get me something nicer" And it came complimentary!
