does the amex platinum business card also have lounge access?

But it doesn't offer a signup bonus (definitely not 50k).

I knew someone was gonna say something like that...
I'm not planning on getting the card. I just noticed that my uncle has that card and he doesn't even know that he has lounge access, that's why I was double-checking before I'd tell him.

What's he using it for? Does he know what MR points are really worth or is he redeeming 100,500 MR points for a $500 laptop...

It's probably costing him $450 a year if there's an active account (even if the card isn't active).

I've heard that you can still get into lounges even after you cancel the AMEX platinum card. Is this true?

For the record,  AA branded lounges charges you for wifi unless your an AA Admiral club member while the typical international lounge like club j (that priority pass gets you into) gives you free wifi...

Interesting. If you use their own computers then it's still free though.

How much do they charge?"

Ya your right. They usually have computers for the use of 'loungers' but officially your supposed to limit it to 15 min :) to get wifi usually its around $8 for a 24 period...

Is this everywhere? When I was in the AA lounge in LGA (in Jan.) I recall using it longer then that and there was no hint anywhere about a time limit.

+1 for DFW where there are dozens of computers.
Save your time, I don't answer PM. Post it in the forum and a dedicated DDF'er will get back to you as soon as possible.

Yeah I just got back from a multi city AA flight (MIA, DFW, LAX) and none of the places gave me a complimentary WiFi code since they said it's for the EXP or paying Admiral Club Members.

I feel like AA cuts the most corners with amenities at their lounges in comparison to the other Airline lounges.  Even the food is very skimpy (cookies till 5 PM and then a salad tray).

Was it really busy at the times you were there?

Flying jfk-yvr with amex plat+priority pass, on cathay. Which lounges can I enter in each airport?
Always use an Amex, you'll thank me one day.
