Didn't see an answer in the last few pages,
Does an inactive Plat card allow access to Amex's Centurion lounges?
Any recent datapoints?

Would be embarrassing being turned away..  ;)

It does not

While there is a Centurion MIA, LAS, and LGA thread there is no centurion Master Thread. So I will post here.

For all of you flying through SEA, Amex opened their studio centurion lounge at Seattle-Tacoma International:

I am going to Miami next week with my wife, in-laws and infant. If I have only one active platinum card would that be enough to get all of them into the centurion lounge? Does the "2 guest rule" apply in addition to immediate family or is it a "and/or" policy?

I believe it's and/or.

When they check you in, you're checked in along with your guests. It wouldn't work. Aside for the fact that they will remember your face.

I figured as much. Unless my wife wants to bite the bullet there will be no message option for the in-laws  ::)

Thank you for the response.

That is two separate things, there are lounges you can get into with a cancelled but non expired platinum and there are lounges you can get into with an active priority pass

Thanks. The card worked for centurion. However for an airport that doesn't have centurion is there any way to make use of the pp lounge without an active pp membership( simply by showing ur Amex card?)

I have a flight from Miami in terminal G. Is it worth/possible to stop by at centurion lounge at terminal D?

Is the lounge before or after security? How long does it take to get from D back to G? http://www.miami-airport.com/airline_information.asp

In MIA it is a pain to get from one terminal to the next you could either walk or take a moving walkway on the 3rd floor.  I don't know where the lounge is.
