AC Questions
« on: August 04, 2015, 09:44:44 AM »
Any way to measure the temperature of the air my AC is blowing without calling someone down? I am in Israel (yes its hot) and my AC does not seem to feel as cold. Not sure if its the weather or my unit...

Probably the weather. There's a heat wave, right?

Correct.. I feel like the air flow is not reaching as far as usual. I did refill it with Freon last year and the technician said there was a leak he was not able to fix so I may need a refill..

Do you have a filter? Sometimes a dirty filter can restrict airflow as well.

If you have a known leak then wouldn't you say it's broken?

He claimed that I had a leak.. The AC worked fine for over a year since then so I find his statement hard to believe

it could be a slow one. If it is low now then that would mean a leak. Pretty simple.
