Anyone ever rented anything near a kosher hotel in Switzerland?

People do all the time. For years already. Before Airbnb. That's how most Europeans vacation. Check the Switzerland thread. Theres a list of websites in the recent posts.

Hi all, not sure where to post this as it involves Delta skymiles too. I booked a Airbnb in Miami for next week and after that found that I can get skymiles for my stay. I filed a request for mileage refund with Delta last week, no response. Any idea what I can still do to earn those miles? Thanks

I rented an airbnb and showed up to the place only to find that it was filthy, littered with personal stuff, most rooms locked and the one bedroom left open (out of three) was not the picture posted on the listing. I simply upped and left since owner is out of the country with different time zone and wasn't replying to email. tried calling airbnb and was left hanging for 47 minutes after which I called it quits and checked into nearest dingy motel. whats my best recourse now? I filed claim on airbnb resolution center but the service fee seems to be non refundable. is there hope to be refunded completely by airbnb or amex?

the host was actually quite apologetic and vowed to get me back the money asap claims he cant do it on phone though and doestnt have his computer with him. what about the airbnb fee? they don't let me claim that money in the claim at all.
on a different note I once wanted to inquire on a property and instead of contact host I pressed a different button maybe request to book or something and was charged. was never able to get back the service fee

He could have done through desktop site on phone, but all that is accurate.
Bookings in error happen often, and if you call airbnb immediately they'll reverse the whole thing

I have stayed in a few Airbnb's and overall had a great experience. IMO alot of times its better then staying at hotels.
Recently I rented a place in Venice near the Jewish ghetto.
The only issue was that the owner has a system where you must place a key in a keyhole in order for the electricity to work, and it's attached to the key ring for the apt. So on Shabbos we had no light.

How I wish that the original Amex offer for Airbnb came back again. That was an awesome offer, lol.
