Update I got a message today from Verizon that my service will end in 3 days and if I want to continue, I need to make a $45 payment.

So what is the consensus...

Does this phone work if i only wanted to use it on wifi?

(I have iOS and would like to have an Android account for certain apps i cant get on iOS)
