if this is an amazing professional cc why do they send mail of million dollar sweepstakes and free airfare tickets that this stuff looks like a major scam (you were chosen.... or fix this sticker and send it back by .....)
why is this ?
or if its not a scam has anyone ever benefited from this stuff?

40% of viewers look for promotions first in a ad, they want customers like every other company. American express is too big to try a scam like make a promotion and nobody wins the risk of someone finding that out if it were true would be 100 times worse than the payout of actually offering it and they wouldn't take that risk

If a promo interested me, I'd quicker sign up from amex than other companies
