There should be a two piece yarmulka so you can wash it easily and Velcro on the suede part on top of the base.
How about a lining for a talis, that is easily removable and washable.
Is it not going to make the tallis more heavier?

On that note - I receipt bought a Tallis with a different “lightweight” weave, and Surprise - it is 10% heavier than my current old one.
Alot of the places that clean Taliesim replace the lining
and that requires going to a tailor, and you have to sew it. Why not just snaps, or velcro, rip it off, wash it, and replace it.
