also, how do you even open it?

We’re talking about canned peelers here. The canned can openers have a pull tab, but they can also be opened by covering your Chametzdik can opener with aluminum foil...

What's up with the blacked-out area?

Do you want to play a board game, digitally or in Lakewood NJ? PM me. (Can be asynchronous, i.e. take turns whenever)

I just started using it yesterday so I can't help with the blades question
And meanwhile it managed with uneven pataoes because the arm has something like a spring that adjusts according to the width
But the very thin ends of things like sweet potatoes or even potatoes it doesn't seem to get to
I don't see that as such a problem though because can just cut it off or do myself without too much effort

Or just drill into the potato and spin it next to the peeler.

How many seconds per potato?

I've used this VERY successfuly to peel apples on pesach.
You need a spade bit around an inch wide.
Once you get the hang of it each one takes under 5 seconds start to finish.

I've not managed to get potatoes or any other produce to be faster then by hand due to the indentations and irregular shape, but apples are almost perfect as hard round spheres.

How do you core them after?
We usually chop them up for applesauce etc or slice them, so you can cut the sides off with 4 slices.
If you need them neat just use a corer after, or one of those tools that cored and cuts it into 6 wedges at once.

A treadmill? Indeed. There are better ways to hang clothes.

Does the drill bit need to be toiveld?
It’s a good question.
I bought it in a houseware store that has a Mikva so I did.

If used for apples that are edible when raw, it probably needs a brocho, but AYLOR.

Don’t let the drill bit sit wet - they rust very quickly.

Also, as it must be said: power tools are not toys, and you can seriously injure yourself (or worse) using them. “Don’t try this at home”.
It’s quite easy to stab yourself if you are not careful.

There should be a two piece yarmulka so you can wash it easily and Velcro on the suede part on top of the base.
