He posted a screenshot, have you seen any negative reports for the card this year?
Link?
Nope, most people are too scared to try it.

That hack is great. Surprised it's not getting any attention on here.

Same, I love that FT thread. Did you use the generic "hacked" link from here: http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/25342227-post4725.html (potentially replacing XXXXXX with random letters and 22222 with random numbers)? Or did you use the instructions over at http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/25331937-post4691.html to create a link with the info from one of your prequalified offers? I'm not sure which approach to take.

Thanks! And you've confirmed you're getting the bonus miles / have already gotten them? I've been dying to get another Exec, but I wanted to make sure I applied the proper way to actually get the bonus after having had so many Execs before.

I didn't apply (I'm at 2/65 right now), but plenty of confirmed reports on FT.

I messed up somehow. Tried doing what FT explained, and got approved for the regular card (was a preapproved link, or so I thought.)
Any advice how to do this properly?

You probably didn't edit the link properly, if done properly, the app page should look like this -

I completed my spend on my Executive card, and the 37 days for my AF is coming up in a few days.
The problem is that it seems citi skipped my September billing cycle - my August bill is due in October -  and therefore the miles haven't posted to my account.
If I call will they expedite the miles, so then I can avoid the AF ?

Citi said they can only put in a request to have the miles expedited in 2-3 business days. I just hope it goes through.

Anyway around the citi 37 day AF refund rule ?
Is it at all possible to get it back within a longer timeframe like 60 days with Amex etc. ?!

Can you post a link ? Is that just one data point ?
Citi messed up my billing cycle and I really can't afford a $450 AF.
Can I downgrade the card, will that give me a better chance of getting the miles ?

No. No.
Is citi any good with compensation ? Any chance they'll credit some of the AF back bec. they messed up my cycle, thereby prolonging the miles posting ?

If my AF posted on 08/21, can I still cancel on 09/27 for my refund or is it over on 09/26 ?

They are very strict by not refunding the AF.
But worth fighting for it.

I called before my billing cycle closed to make sure everything is fine and I reached the 7.5k I was told 'good to go' wait for statement and I have 37 days since I was charged the $450 for a refund.

What I found out later that the AF doesn't count towards the 7.5k so I was off by $200
They were telling me that's it's worth it to keep card open and get 75k points even if wont get AF refunded, I said I want both.
She said can't get goods of both worlds, we had argument.....

She promised to pull the call I had with the wrong info, never called back so the last day (of the 37 days) I called bunches of times and had a hard time with them. They were all saying I could choose or to wait and get points or cancel card now and get refunded.....

In the END she called back (I spoke to Cathy) and said to wait for new cycle to close to get points and if I wish to cancel card I will get refunded the AF even if it's after 37 days.
