Quotes from Jimmy Carter?
http://www.newsmax.com/FastFeatures/jimmy-carter-israel-quotes/2014/12/29/id/596734/To go through the list, although there are several in which he talks at length, vaguely, about the positive relationship between the US and israel, there are a few quotes which are clearly biased (no one would ever apply these standards to any other counry in circumstances even close to those):
#1, the fact that the arab countries accepting Israel's right to exist is at the end, almost a postscript
#2, obviously (most of what he says is absurd, and the last sentence thrown in is a joke, since if that's true, why does the whole paragraph talk about Israel?
#8 - suffering since 1948? That's when the state of Israel was formed...did he mention that for 20 years, that "suffering" must have been at the hands of the arab countries that were "occupying" the palistinian territories (though no one ever complains about that)?
#9 - that's not the only reason for the war with lebanon (oops, we forgot about missiles being fired), and there's a huge difference between soldiers being held captive in inhumane conditions (sometimes after being out-and-out kidnapped, not captives of war), and a country holding prisoners who have committed crimes.
