I found this old NYT ad taken out by rabbis at the time of the Camp David agreement. They turned out to be wrong on almost every point. But nite the solicitation of donations on the bottom. Cute.

Saw in R Telushkins book over Shabbos something to the effect of - even though the Rebbe was very against Camp David, he still felt, when Carter left office, that he was deserving of the appreciation and respect of the Jewish community' Because of the National education day etc.
Now that may have changed after the whole BDS / apartheid thing, but interesting nonetheless.
