The general rule on DDMS (cmiiw) has been and is (with a few exceptions) if it is already shared publicly, it's fair game. We have all benefited from the main site and see no reason why the forums should be tighter.
Oh, and this UPS crap to distract every serious thread you don't like is just unrespectful and ungrateful. You are (besides classifying yourself as pompous "elites", which you're not, no matter what your post count says), actively destroying a useful forum. I call for anymore UPS posts outside JS to be deleted. If you don't like a post PM the OP and/or a Mod. No reason to trash threads.

It's only a handful (if not less) of non-sharing people.......
And we all know who they are.
Personally if I know something and someone PMs me about it, if he's a "contributor" I'll almost always share, a lot of people can attest to that.
And others. ... they're just not being appreciative! They were also once noobs.....
