The way not to find your self in such situation is by not arguing with AA reps, you can politely try to convince them to give you LY but once you see that the agent is stubborn, DO NOT ARGUE. It will not help. It will only cause the rep to put a not on the tkt and then the deal is sealed.
One more important thing is to write down the name of the rep you're speaking with. So when you call again and the same rep picks up you just give her the busy signal. By speaking twice to the same agent is causes here to put notes as well.
