I don't want to be a party pooper but I would davka stay away from these attractions at that time. It's gonna attract the wrong kind of crowd. Just think about any "free day" at the zoo you've ever been to. The last one I went to, I saw two toddlers having a knife fight in the parking lot.

Don't compare this to Wednesday chol hamoed in Bronx zoo .
I can't imagine when you have a large amount of available attractions over a full month that it will be that bad

I would imagine that the only reason that it's free for the month of October is because they have the least foot traffic then. Can't be worse then July-August
