Sephardim name kids after living parents, but ashkenazim only name after the deceased, i.e. specifically not the same name as a parent or grandparent that is alive.

Most of my family are not into these games as one day the believe they will be visiting me in prison. That does not stop the from calling all the time to get them discounts on tickets.
