Instead of jumping on an innocent question, people should just answer normally. This "bully the n00b" mentality is disgusting-either answer nicely or not at all. No need to rebuke, shame, or engage in any other negative behavior-he's asking a perfectly innocent question which to his mind isn't one being discussed here. It's not like there's a thread entitled "meeting AMEX thresholds" on the first page.

4.Amex Gift cards (buy now, meet spend minimum and use for spending, or cash out via method 1 – see wiki). Discussed somewhat in this thread also inappropriately started, but with some good info now
