Thread summary:

Trump walks in a room.

1. Moshe123 shoots at him because he is pure evil, 2. ilherman+hachover jump in front of the bullets because Trump is our savior. 3. aygart tackles Moshe123 because Trump is better than HRC, 4. but Baruch can't stand Trump so he tells aygart he's crazy and Trump is a madman. 5. ExGingi would like to point out that who cares what he is, all that matters is the supreme court nominations. 6. Dan and others aren't really sure how this makes them feel plus they don't really want to drink poison. 7. Spoiler alert: Moshe123's gun was empty, it was just a blank.

And Freddie is in the back of the room just cooking his cholent. Until he announces that there are TWO menu choices, Pareve Cholent or Vegetable Lasagna. While etech0 figured out that they are both poisoned.

Repeat x100.

And then Hilary walks into the room with the most confidence a candidate has had in recent history. She is so confident that she eats both the Pareve Cholent and Vegetable Lasagna. Everyone is the room is aghast, they don't know how this happened, could it be Comey is behind this poisoning or was it that her Obamacare premiums were to high to get her the help she needed.

Everyone stared as she choked and was cast into oblivion on November, 8, 2016 the last day she was heard from in the public eye.

Moshe123, ilherman, hachover, Baruch, ExGingi, Dan, Freddie, etech0, and the rest of America are in total shock and hope that so long as Trump doesn't eat any Pareve Cholent and Vegetable Lasagna and stays true to his supreme court nominees this may be the greatest thing to happen since the CSR and GC's.

But remember this may be the beginning of the end...

P.S. Thanks to cognitive dissonance aygart, Michael Moore, and Scott Adams knew the whole time that Trump could win, unfortunately for JTZ he may be off DDF for the next 4 years due to his mandatory 3 times daily consumption of CROW!

As things turns out, the most prescient view on this election was that of Michael Moore! Though Scott Adams is also claiming a high view level of prescience.

The crash will have nothing to do with the President, which is why these "goalposts" as stationary as they may be, are completely meaningless.
agreed 100%
there are many things that you can attribute to a president but the stock market is dependent on so many other things that it is silly to make a direct connection.

Besides, the dow is a terrible measure of the stock market so even if you wanted to look at market change during a presidency you should be looking at wilshire 5000 or s&p

I live in reality but I keep hoping I am wrong about him.
forgetting about the silliness of the voter fraud and inauguration what do you think of the other things that he has been doing since taking office?

He'd rather not think about those :)

Voter fraud is probably very real because it is so very easy to pull off and get away with. It's going to be very difficult to find evidence for the very same reason. I wish they wouldn't bother looking for evidence of past fraud (that may be a fruitless endeavor) and instead focus on limiting the moral hazard that the current voting system creates. Requiring some form of ID would be nice (could be biometric these days) and/or comparing registered voter lists to the Social Security master death records.

If dollar bills were printed on Staples paper using Canon inkjets, counterfeiting would abound.
I'm an optimist; but only because life isn't going to give me any other good choices.

I dont think you are right. JTZ has shown an ability to give credit where its due (at times) and I think his political views might align with some of the things trump has set in motion. curious what he says

Produce these alternative facts. I have seen one study that there might be voter fraud to the extent you are talking about. All other studies I have seen debunk this notion and his own lawyers back up this position. Did his lawyers lie?
You said there's no evidence of fraud.
I said there's evidence of fraud (and quoted a study yesterday proving so) but the question is  the extent.
You reply that I need to bring evidence to the extent. (Moving goalposts is a familiar activity).
There is no evidence to the extent just yet, but there are studies suggesting that the extent can be concerning, so I think it's something worth investigating further.

Trumpís lawyers said, ďAll available evidence suggests that the 2016 general election was not tainted by fraud or mistake.Ē

The context of your quote is important.

The existence of fraud does not always taint an election.

There is no current evidence of fraud that would favor Trump or put question to his legitimacy.
There is evidence of fraud that would favor Democrats, perhaps to an extent that could decide an election.

This question was asked by a Fox News (of all places) reporter at today's briefing.

When JTZ speaks no one listens.  :)
Most of it hasn't effected anything yet. Give it sometime. Do you have examples?
He did put a hiring freeze into effect. Don't think that is a good thing.

If you took "no evidence of voter fraud" to mean not a single vote was cast fraudulently then not much I can say to that.

How would we ever get evidence of the extent of it if every time someone suggests that we look into it everyone yells that there is no evidence?

I have no problem looking into voter fraud. The problem I have is the reason why. It is he can't accept the fact he lost the popular vote.
