I read the statement. I still don't see a specific item that Comey claims Trump said and Trump denies especially now that the "loyalty" claim is tempered by Comey's testimony.

... This is just one tiny example that I deal with in NYC, one of the largest concentrations of visible Jews on the planet, in the shining pride of Western civilization. In other places, it is far, far worse. (Look at Jeremy Corbyn in the UK for a start, and we can go from there.)

Gotta give her credit for that one.She's the only Democratic​ Senator to say that. The NYT in their takeaway from the testimony didn't even mention it.

While Comey's account of the way things happened with Lynch is disturbing, I find how he dealt with it equally disturbing. WHat authority did he have to take matters into his own hands? He had every right to resign in a public spectacle to let everyone know why he couldn't stay on with Lynch's obstruction. He could have called for a special prosecutor. He chose not to and instead overstepped his authority. Aain regarding Trump, if he felt he was being obstructed then he should have publicly called for a special prosecutor. He chose not to. Only when he was fired did he feel he needed to save face and try to get a special prosecutor.
