Thread summary:

Trump walks in a room.

1. Moshe123 shoots at him because he is pure evil, 2. ilherman+hachover jump in front of the bullets because Trump is our savior. 3. aygart tackles Moshe123 because Trump is better than HRC, 4. but Baruch can't stand Trump so he tells aygart he's crazy and Trump is a madman. 5. ExGingi would like to point out that who cares what he is, all that matters is the supreme court nominations. 6. Dan and others aren't really sure how this makes them feel plus they don't really want to drink poison. 7. Spoiler alert: Moshe123's gun was empty, it was just a blank.

And Freddie is in the back of the room just cooking his cholent. Until he announces that there are TWO menu choices, Pareve Cholent or Vegetable Lasagna. While etech0 figured out that they are both poisoned.

Repeat x100.

And then Hilary walks into the room with the most confidence a candidate has had in recent history. She is so confident that she eats both the Pareve Cholent and Vegetable Lasagna. Everyone is the room is aghast, they don't know how this happened, could it be Comey is behind this poisoning or was it that her Obamacare premiums were to high to get her the help she needed.

Everyone stared as she choked and was cast into oblivion on November, 8, 2016 the last day she was heard from in the public eye.

Moshe123, ilherman, hachover, Baruch, ExGingi, Dan, Freddie, etech0, and the rest of America are in total shock and hope that so long as Trump doesn't eat any Pareve Cholent and Vegetable Lasagna and stays true to his supreme court nominees this may be the greatest thing to happen since the CSR and GC's.

But remember this may be the beginning of the end...

P.S. Thanks to cognitive dissonance aygart, Michael Moore, and Scott Adams knew the whole time that Trump could win, unfortunately for JTZ he may be off DDF for the next 4 years due to his mandatory 3 times daily consumption of CROW!

As things turns out, the most prescient view on this election was that of Michael Moore! Though Scott Adams is also claiming a high view level of prescience.

I am basing it on what he said. So everything he said on HS was a lie?
I don't know. I don't listen to that piece of filth. (HS, that is :) )

How could one say that the right guys were the people to blame for the violence? They were marching peacefully demonstrating their first ammendment rights. Until the left showed up and started being violent.
You can say what you think when you think what you say.

I agree with you completely on this.  the only thing is if Trump really wanted to be couldve more clearly communicated that he was equivicating their actions not their belief systems.  which is not the biggest deal hence the previous post that you took umbrage with
And that makes him an idiot.

He acts stupid, and then does it again and again.

I was convinced not, until I saw that the NYT ran a story about how there were http://www.breitbart.com/big-government/2017/08/17/new-york-times-charlottesville-protesters-not-white-supremacists-nazis/

No one said there were no right wing demonstrators in the entire city of Charlottesville. There was a Unite the Right event which included Nazi marches. Trump specifically mentioned those marches in saying there were good people there. And if Ms. Piercy's van load of good people were at the march and didn't leave when they saw the Nazi stuff, as @aygart said, they are not good people.

Bottom line, again, Trump equivocated in his condemnation of Nazis - and it's far from the first time.

The mistake you are making is thinking Trumps thinks these groups are all Nazis.

It is meaningless unless we know the intent and make up of both sides.

The makeup is more of a question. I find it hard to consider someone who continued marching with a group being explicitly bigots to be "good people", but can easily envision there being good people who came to counter-protest them and have nothing to do with Antifa.

As far as Antifa, here are some quotes from the article above:
https://www.nytimes.com/2017/08/17/us/antifa-left-wing-faction-far-right.html?partner=rss&emc=rss&smid=tw-nytpolitics&smtyp=cur

Unlike most of the counterdemonstrators in Charlottesville and elsewhere, members of antifa have shown no qualms about using their fists, sticks or canisters of pepper spray to meet an array of right-wing antagonists whom they call a fascist threat to American democracy. As explained this week by a dozen adherents of the movement, the ascendant new right in the country requires a physical response.

...

“You need violence in order to protect nonviolence,” Ms. Nauert added. “That’s what’s very obviously necessary right now. It’s full-on war, basically.”

...

Antifa adherents — some armed with sticks and masked in bandannas — played a visible role in the running street battles in Charlottesville, but it is impossible to know how many people count themselves as members of the movement.

....

The Berkeley campus has been a particular hotbed of antifa activity, and university officials have criticized the group. In February, black-clad protesters, some of whom identified themselves as antifa, smashed windows, threw gasoline bombs and broke into a campus building, causing $100,000 in damage.

....

In the past, antifa activists have engaged with people who were clearly something less than outright neo-Nazis, raising questions about who, if anyone, deserves to be punched and whether there is such a thing as legitimate political violence.

IF they continues to be a part of it when it became clear that the focus was not the statues and symbolism that belies their innocent talk.

Give me a break. The outrage is over his current actions which mimics his beliefs for the past 50 years. What's next? That he respects women!!!
Where have you seen racial and ethnic bigotry over the last 50 years? I have seen numerous clips showing the opposite including some racial activists saying so.

#IgnoreTrump has been around since he started his campaign.
Sweet dreams
They are not advocating to ignore him altogether but to ignore the ramblings and focus on policies.

Is that clear? It was definitely when they showed up but each group is claiming the other started the violence.
