Thread summary:

Trump walks in a room.

1. Moshe123 shoots at him because he is pure evil, 2. ilherman+hachover jump in front of the bullets because Trump is our savior. 3. aygart tackles Moshe123 because Trump is better than HRC, 4. but Baruch can't stand Trump so he tells aygart he's crazy and Trump is a madman. 5. ExGingi would like to point out that who cares what he is, all that matters is the supreme court nominations. 6. Dan and others aren't really sure how this makes them feel plus they don't really want to drink poison. 7. Spoiler alert: Moshe123's gun was empty, it was just a blank.

And Freddie is in the back of the room just cooking his cholent. Until he announces that there are TWO menu choices, Pareve Cholent or Vegetable Lasagna. While etech0 figured out that they are both poisoned.

Repeat x100.

And then Hilary walks into the room with the most confidence a candidate has had in recent history. She is so confident that she eats both the Pareve Cholent and Vegetable Lasagna. Everyone is the room is aghast, they don't know how this happened, could it be Comey is behind this poisoning or was it that her Obamacare premiums were to high to get her the help she needed.

Everyone stared as she choked and was cast into oblivion on November, 8, 2016 the last day she was heard from in the public eye.

Moshe123, ilherman, hachover, Baruch, ExGingi, Dan, Freddie, etech0, and the rest of America are in total shock and hope that so long as Trump doesn't eat any Pareve Cholent and Vegetable Lasagna and stays true to his supreme court nominees this may be the greatest thing to happen since the CSR and GC's.

But remember this may be the beginning of the end...

P.S. Thanks to cognitive dissonance aygart, Michael Moore, and Scott Adams knew the whole time that Trump could win, unfortunately for JTZ he may be off DDF for the next 4 years due to his mandatory 3 times daily consumption of CROW!

As things turns out, the most prescient view on this election was that of Michael Moore! Though Scott Adams is also claiming a high view level of prescience.

Nope. I'm not a Trumpster by any stretch. His comments were beyond idiotic. But I agree with @good sam on this.
And we've outed another one. Your facade held up for pretty long though.

You think the whole team is disrespecting the flag by protesting the idiotic comments Trump made?

That's not what he said. There are many, yourself included, that feel kneeling or not showing up is disrespecting the flag, the military, and the entire country.

The players' intention may be to protest racism, police brutality or Trump, but that's not how it is perceived by a massive chunk of America. By making this act to be an act of resistance, those who believe it to be disrespectful will pick the opposing side, i.e. Trump.

It is easy to make the case against an individual. When a whole team and most of the league does it the argument does not hold water.

You tried to change the question instead on answering it. If you don't want to answer the question that is fine. To me no answer is an answer.  :P

With all due respect, as much as some people will support Trump even if he kills somebody in broad daylight, many more people are like you. Even if Trump saves an entire city, u'll still find something to criticize him for. So at this point there really is no point in having any sort of dialogue with you.

Look at the response. It's been all too predictable. Puerto Rico (they're American citizens) is on its knees, but all anyone is speaking about is NFL knees. Not to mention North Korea, Iran and other major world issues going on. And Trump is consolidating support by pitting people against "disrespecting the flag."

I can't say he did it on purpose, but that's the result.

He is trying to hold on to his dwindling support by pitting proud Americans against each other. Now that is a president we should support.  ::)

I think maybe you are thinking that the intention is to protest trump,  not the flag.

But the medium chosen is protestin the flag.

So to your question, is this act of protesting trump disrespectful to the flag, I think the answer is yes.

I think that Trump thinks about his fight with the NFL and Kim Jong Un in equal terms.

What about those that were not be on the field during the NA. Were they protesting Trump or the flag?

Please tell me where you proved this. The only time I remember you ever straight out supporting something he did, was with the Supreme Justice nomination.
And even if you are not one of those people, there are still many out there that will criticize him no matter what. And it's because of those people that the rest of us take EVERY piece of news, criticism, news article, etc with a huge grain of salt, even when there really is what to criticize. It's at the point that we're such and tired of it.
Either way, I'm out. Gotta get some sleep.
