He is basically admitting he tried to obstruct justice when he tried to get the FBI to drop the investigation. In his own words "this is now making sense".

Dershowitz has been arguing that obstruction of justice constitutionally cannot apply to the president. He is also arguing that lying to the FBI is only criminal if it is connected to a crime. The items he lied about are not since there is nothing criminal or even wrong about them.

How so? What crime has there even been an indication of having been committed that has anything to do with the administration? Everthing they have done until now was either from long before or caused by the investigation itself.

Because from day one this has been a political witch hunt and not a criminal investigation. The only crimes they have found were ones irrelevant to the investigation or which only came about due to the investigation including if there was any obstruction of justice.
