They may be relevant yet not in and of themselves disqualifying. Meanwhile @henche is the only one here who wrote anything from a legal perspective. I am not a lawyer to know whether they are disqualifying or not. I know that while I may not be familiar with every aspect of my field I have the tools to find out when needed. Does he? Is that enough? Maybe, maybe not. If it is enough then while relevant, it is not disqualifying.

I saw what the concepts discussed were. I do not see that it is something that he needs experience in from beforehand but rather would be able to review as needed. I have dealt with attorneys litigating energy as an expert witness and there were times that I knew energy regulations better than them, but they were able to review them when needed and argue and apply them very effectively. Why should this be different?

The very rich are getting a break. The medium rich are taking a hit.

Unfair to think of corps as being rich.  Poor ppl who have retirement savings in a 401k or a pension are getting a break from corp taxes.
