Let us dispel this for once and for all. Kasich won the OH governorship in 2014 with 63.8% of the vote. THis was a mid-term election which favors Republicans. Let us ignore that for now. In the Primaries results were K 46.8% T 35.7% C 13.1% R 2.9%. Of those who voted for Kasich in the primary there are many who would vote for the nominee in the general and possibly some who would vote for Hillary. Let us ignore that for now as well. Lets assume that the Cruz and Rubio vote would get evenly split between Kasich and Trump. That would give Kasich an additional 8% for a total of 54.8%. This would leave him with below 35% of the vote in the general. Add in the higher D turnout in the general and the ones voting for the nominee there is no way he wins OH in the general.

Kasich would take OH with ease, Romney would take UT with ease. Would that make a difference?
Probably not, as Clinton is winning this thing in a landslide anyway.

There was once a Whig party in the United States. I think the GOP is heading that direction. It will be interesting to see the realigning that will take place. The biggest change, I will bet you, will be to the Democrats as they absorb a lot of ex-Republicans. Could actually be a good thing.

I can't comment on any of the those numbers, but 76% percent of Democrat voting base is black? Kinda discredits all the other numbers.
