We don't have a revenue problem, the federal government gets more than enough revenue. We have a spending problem.

The solution to the government taking too much money, is to allow the people to keep their money and decide where to spend it.

The solution to a spending problem is NOT to spend more money.

You can say I have limited knowledge, but my money is right where my mouth is. My 401k has been doing so well since America elected its glorious leader, that I should probably be running a hedge fund.

1 - while technically true (maybe), the tax cut is not the issue, it's the out of control spending
2 - I think we need a strong military and TBH I have no idea if more money is necessary, but if it is, it should be offset by other cuts, not other spending increases. If this only increased military spending and left everything else in place, I would be willing to tolerate it but wouldn't be thrilled.

I also think the military should be more fiscally responsible and accountable, "losing" billions of dollars is not acceptable

If we cut the entire military budget, we would still run a deficit, the issue is everything else.

No, because you refuse to call it what it is. I understand you believe growth will cover the debt but history has shown us different. If you want to have an honest discussion we need to call it what it is and does.
