There is ample evidence in both directions for everyone to cherrypick, especially with expert cherrypickers like we have on DDF. The truth is most likely somewhere in the middle where some but not nearly all gets offset by revenue growth but nearly all. On the other hand, one provision in the tax bill which some are ignoring is how the repatriation change has led to $38b from just one company. So the 1.5t is now down to 1.1.

I don't know anything about this whole discussion, but the math doesn't work, 1.5t - 38b is not 1.1t, it's 1.462t

IINM that money was already taken into account, the only question is how much growth will the tax law spur to increase the base which will then offset the lower rates.
