It would not, because criminals would still find a way to get them, and law abiding citizens are left defenseless.

Thanks that worked but has nothing to do with what I asked. I am well aware armed citizens have stopped crimes. I am sure you are well aware that tens of thousands of murders are committed each year with guns stolen from these same citizens. I hope you are seeing the big picture.

It's hard to find them, because an attack that's stopped before killing many people gets almost no media attention.

thats not the reaason i think they are hard to find
