I'll admit that I had no knowledge of the pipeline issue before the NATO outburst, and that the Trump administration was working hard to block it.

I do want to note again that Trump wasn't the one taking a stance on it in regards to Russia. I still find it interesting that he plays nice with Putin.

The fact is that he has been glaringly ignoring Russia. He's at best "leading from behind". To me that's interesting...

WH policy and Trump policy are inseparable. You don't get to pick and choose which policies to credit him for and which to say that it is only his administration. Some would call that goalposts, but we know aready that all your talk of goalpost is just like Trump-all talk. In the Poland speech Trump spoke about these energy policies himself.

I have not defended his praises of putin at all.
