Did you see the actual statement, and not just what the MSM highlights to twist and try to make it into a racist statement? He was talking about the socialist agenda, nothing to do with blacks. Unless the MSM thinks that all socialists are black. In which case, who's the racist one?

I have no problem with him apologising. Not because it is an offensive word rather because he didn't think of every single person in the world and therefore conclude that maybe it could be twisted to be offensive. And yes, regardless of whether or not something wrong is said, if somebody says they're offended, you say 'i'm sorry u feel offended' (but not necessarily because he  said anything wrong) andve on.
 But honestly, if the left wing MSM wouldnt try to make it into a 'oh, he's racist' story, then nobody would have said boo. If anything, they should be apologising to those who are now being offended since they created this whole mess out of nothing.

This is a simple case of you don't use the word "monkey" when talking about your black opponent. No one here called him a racist. He messed up, that's all. If you don't understand what "monkey" has to do with racism you really need to get out more.

The truth is the US can't compete with other countries on free trade. Have zero tariffs across the board and we get killed.

I think there are a few different parts here.

1. There are countries that we competitive. Canada, EU etc. While there are tarriffs on both sides we wouldn't get killed by not having tarriffs.

2. Countries like Mexico, China, Brazil, India etc we can't win on free trade as they have waaay cheap labor. However China as an example still levies tarriffs on top of that which makes it even worse.


I don't see us getting killed. Yes Mexico would be a bummer, but we would gain in other places.
