I agree with you more about the 30% than the 70%. I would bet half of the 70% believe the economy is good and give him some credit for it. It just doesn't matter to them as much as the other stuff. Just like those who feel SCOTUS is there major concern will overlook much of the negative things he does.

Don't forget those with the longstanding, well documented, opinion that presidents have very little to do with the economy which is backed by backed by numerous financial studies.

Actually, the national polls were quite accurate in predicting the popular vote. It was the state polls which were off.
The bigger question is why someone who is so quick to point out how various polls with better numbers for Trump are outliers fails to do the same when it is anti Trump.
