I am not disagreeing with you and I sure hope you don't think I am defending her anti-Semite comments. My point is the bill (resolution) as written is a good bill. It affirms the rights everyone should have. It seems the issue is how she is going to use those rights.

Mimah nafshach, if it's a bill that is not about Israel, so it's about nothing and it's pointless and a waste of time. There's also no need for a law allowing for non violent protest, it's enshrined in the constitution. And if it's about Israel, it's anti Semitic trash.

I'm no legal expert, but she said it's about BDS on the congressional record, so I think that's pretty clear.

She also announced a trip to Israel "to learn more about the occupation" at the same time as introducing this bill, basically begging Israel to block her from entering and coming across as evil oppressors. She is not a good person.

You're being ridiculous. When the people who submit the bill say exactly what the bill is in congress, you can't seriously say, "well, it doesn't say bds in there, so *shrug*"

This is one of your go-tos. Never mind that I have a history in this thread of going against popular opinion. Never mind that we have the text of the bill with the video of her saying the bill - specifying Nazi, Japanese & Apartheid boycotts - is talking about BDS. Never mind that she put it in her damn press release. In the face of that, *I'm* the one that's not being objective? Please.

This is a resolution whose only significance is the symbolism because it had no legal force. For that we need to look not just at the text of the resolution, but also at the context of who is introducing it and why.
