He did make a convincing argument. Very few legal experts are making that argument or agree with him.
Flipping from crime, no crime, crime like and so on is where his argument falls apart. Just giving you the whole picture of the circus.

We are at the trial stage. Bolton is a material witnesses if Trump did what they are accusing him of. If you believe he did abuse his power then you need to decide does that rise to the level of high crimes and misdemeanors. I believe that SCOTUS should decide that issue.

Missing from your portrayal of the picture is that there's a strong likelihood to be a majority convinced by Dershowitz's arguments.

No there will be a partisan response. If Bolton's book revelation is true that is all they will have to fall back on. The I's will not by it. That is who this is directed at.

if you’re saying that for what he did and is being charged you’re not convinced he should be impeached. Why would Bolton’s testimony convince you? He isn’t a law professor.

You need to read the last 100 pages to get the full picture.

I put different standard of evidence for the house and senate phases. I asked and searched what the standard of evidence is and could not find anything. One member said everyone has their own.

If a Senator believes that even if true it is not impeachable (and perhaps not even an abuse of power because the investigations into the Bidens was called for), then the only reason to call Bolton is to damage Trump politically.

I would say there are (at least) 3 elements to that

1. To put pressure on the moderate R senators

2. To be able to cry "coverup" when exec privilege is invoked.

3. Hoping that he says something that will damage trump politically.

75%!!! The country understands why there must be witnesses. Why is it so hard for so many here to understand this?
