Pence reportedly asked Trump to fire him and that was a mistake.

The lie to pence was the same lie as to the FBI.
Lets see if I have this straight. Pence says he lied. Trump says he lied to Pence and the FBI. Flynn pleads guilty twice in court that he lied to the FBI. You say you are not sure. Can you understand why I would say you are drinking the Kool-Aid?

I am sure that someone who is pleading guilty because they are scared of threats will change because of that question.

It isn't.

The point is she violated the EO. Now you can argue the 7 days was harsh but you don't get to make up your own facts. I can't find the penalty in Texas but in other states it is serious jail time (6-16 months) and fines.

IMHO she got of easy when all she had to do was apologize. Here is what the judge told her: "Your actions were selfish, putting your own interests ahead of the community in which you live," said Moyé, who told Luther she could pay a fine in lieu of incarceration if she issued an apology and agreed to shutter her salon. "A society cannot function where one's own beliefs in a concept of liberty permits you to flaunt your disdain for the rulings of duly elected officials," he added.
