Okay, will you agree to my theory?

I think the Trump's came out of this debate exactly the way they wanted!

They wanted to make sure he does not come out a loser. He definitely did not come out a loser.

They wanted Hillary to unleash everything she has on him right at the first debate, his tax returns, his women's issues etc. so by the next to debates she wont have what to say on him.

On the other hand he still has a whole long list for what to attack her. They want him to bring that up closer to November.

Basically, his magazine is now full while hers is empty!  He is ready to fire.

Nonsense. Hillary mopped the floor with him. She came across as polished and prepared, and most importantly, healthy.

He had quite a few opportunities to strike, but failed to take any.

Expect the polls to go back to the pre 9-11 fainting fiasco.

Thats an extreme exaggeration.
There were so many points he could've made that would've TKO'd her but he didn't. While I don't think he gained ground he did not lose any either. However the best point he made is was the one not said. I believe he will gain a lot of respect from that and be applauded.

Don't expect anything different from Trump in the next 2 debates. He performed exactly as he did in the primary debates. It will either work for him or not.

His ADD makes him incapable of learning the issues and properly preparing for a debate. Hillary clearly made the right move by pausing her campaign to debate. The points she lost are meaningless. She'll make them up in the next polls.

these are all churnable arguments. she can reiterate them at the next two debates without looking boring. Ditto for the arguments on her, which he failed to do.

Even the mods fell for this trap. You think he will be asked again about his tax returns? About the birther issue?

Its hard to belive that he didn't respond to Clinton's theories about why he isnt releasing his tax returns with theories of his own regarding the deleted emails. Instead he defended himself from her theories.

it is even harder to believe that he forgot. At the primary debates he never forgot. What is most likely is that he intentionally refrained from being a scary attacker. The lack of attacks from him was glaring and he very deliberately pointed out how she was busy attacking him and he was not responding in kind. Yesterday morning everyone was saying how Hillary needed to get under his skin and that her just winning the debate was not enough. What made you change your minds now?

He clearly tried bringing up bengazhi (or some other failure) when he was listing her failures abroad but couldnt recall it. All he wad able to rember was Iraq and"other failures"

Well....NATO includes the UK and Portugal so a twisted case could be made to say she meant that NATO contains the oldest military alliance.
