McCain is a pretty good political move, he's someone that is a hero which Trump disrespected, he's betting hard that trump will either lose the election or fail as a president and when he does he will have built a decent campaign for a 2020 bid.

First. All things even, at least Trump was not just going to not support. He would run as independent because he thinks - at least he thinks - he can win as independent.
