I think Comey's been corrupt all along and that this latest bit was all engineered in collusion with Clinton's campaign. The psychology of it is brilliant - make a vague announcement less than 2 weeks before the election, letting the anti clinton camp get excited, meanwhile Hillary can say 'bring it on' safely knowing that nothing is coming and making it appear that her confidence comes from innocence. When Comey says nothing's been found, its the end of the ride for the anti clinton camp - they foolishly latched on to the plot and now have no avenue left. Meanwhile, Hillary tells everyone she called their bluff because she knew it had to be a bluff because she is innocent.

This is such a far fetched conspiracy theory. Only a true Trumper would buy into this stuff.

538 didn't. The latinos did. And I'd be surprised if Trump wins florida given the early indications that Latino turnout is much higher than it was in 2012.

538 is pretty firm at the moment for the Senate going Republican and president Clinton.  He doesn't expect it to change. 
For those looking for checks and balances,  doesn't that make the case for Hillary? Otherwise we're looking at a Paul Ryan slam dunk for anything he wants.  I like the guy,  but he needs to be checked as well

It sure helps when you say things like "I will round up and deport 11 million illegals", taking into account that probably half of the legal Latinos have friends and relatives that are illegal.

Yes, they ARE illegal, but there is something called diplomacy, which Trump has absolutely no sense of.

@NateSilver538: Given the insane volume of polling coming out, we might do one last forecast run tomorrow morning, FYI. Doubt it will change much though.
@NateSilver538: Interestingly enough, our POTUS forecast has shifted slightly to Clinton as final polls come in today, while Senate model has shifted GOP.

I am starting this thread as a separate one from the "2016 pick your poison thread" as a matter of interest, asking only those voters (especially if in swing states) who were initially undecided, or who changed their mind along the way, to indicate how they voted, and what was the compelling argument that swayed their opinion. Also, please indicate in which state you vote.

It is? I think saying the FBI is a political organization is a far fetched conspiracy theory and that saying Trump is a puppet for Putin is even more than far fetched. This theory on Comey is actually quite reasonable, and fits very well with how he handled the investigation initially.
