Thread summary:

Trump walks in a room.

1. Moshe123 shoots at him because he is pure evil, 2. ilherman+hachover jump in front of the bullets because Trump is our savior. 3. aygart tackles Moshe123 because Trump is better than HRC, 4. but Baruch can't stand Trump so he tells aygart he's crazy and Trump is a madman. 5. ExGingi would like to point out that who cares what he is, all that matters is the supreme court nominations. 6. Dan and others aren't really sure how this makes them feel plus they don't really want to drink poison. 7. Spoiler alert: Moshe123's gun was empty, it was just a blank.

And Freddie is in the back of the room just cooking his cholent. Until he announces that there are TWO menu choices, Pareve Cholent or Vegetable Lasagna. While etech0 figured out that they are both poisoned.

Repeat x100.

And then Hilary walks into the room with the most confidence a candidate has had in recent history. She is so confident that she eats both the Pareve Cholent and Vegetable Lasagna. Everyone is the room is aghast, they don't know how this happened, could it be Comey is behind this poisoning or was it that her Obamacare premiums were to high to get her the help she needed.

Everyone stared as she choked and was cast into oblivion on November, 8, 2016 the last day she was heard from in the public eye.

Moshe123, ilherman, hachover, Baruch, ExGingi, Dan, Freddie, etech0, and the rest of America are in total shock and hope that so long as Trump doesn't eat any Pareve Cholent and Vegetable Lasagna and stays true to his supreme court nominees this may be the greatest thing to happen since the CSR and GC's.

But remember this may be the beginning of the end...

P.S. Thanks to cognitive dissonance aygart, Michael Moore, and Scott Adams knew the whole time that Trump could win, unfortunately for JTZ he may be off DDF for the next 4 years due to his mandatory 3 times daily consumption of CROW!

As things turns out, the most prescient view on this election was that of Michael Moore! Though Scott Adams is also claiming a high view level of prescience.

They should've auctioned off the presidency as an SPG Moments package. Probably would've ended up with a better candidate than we're going to.
Who do you think you are fooling? You think you are going to pull a quick one on your Creator? Good luck with that.

Yup, I no longer consider conservative after they chose such an inept candidate. They should be ashamed of themselves for nominating Trump. They had other options As opposed to for the Ds who really had no say in the matter, Clinton was chosen by the leaders of the party not the members.
Again, most Republicans didn't choose trump they just couldn't get together on who they want instead of trump
What's a good site to get live poll updates?
Live poll updates have to be filtered through with an understanding of which districts are reporting. 538s live blog is probably your best bet

Thats part of the issue, they were all too self absorbed to realize what all of us did. Either way I didn't say I no longer addiliate with Rs I just dont feel like I'm on the same page with the right wing conservatives who did nominate trump.

+1.
A real wake up call that he could have been nominated.
Amazingly after Trump loses today everyone will deny having voted for him in the primary.

I'm not so sure the whole trump movement will just slink off silently and be forgotten...

I predict that a Trump/Sanders type candidate will win next time around

No one has a problem with that. Would Trump not have all his controversies he would win in a landslide.

Not sure who you are referring to that was too self absorbed the other candidates? I haven't met a politician who isn't self absorbed...
It wasn't the right wing conservatives who nominated trump most of them were with Cruz which is why Cruz outlasted everyone else.
It was the uneducated hicks and people who have never voted before (as trump likes to point out)

Still seems unreal that the Ds put up their weakest candidate in years and the Rs countered with an even weaker one.

Those who voted for Trump earlier this year at 100% at fault for the R loss that's around the corner.
Primary voters who voted from Trump voted to change the system. They didn't for Cruz for another 4 years of Obama type gridlock. They didn't vote for Rubio/Bush/Kasich for another 4 years of Republican establishment policies--increased spending, increased deficit, no meaningful reform. So, aware of the uphill battle entailed, they took their chance with Donald J. Trump, the pragmatic outsider who promised to change the broken system. He may lose, but it was worth a shot.

So don't blame Trump voters. Blame the never Trump movement which, all along, was intent on keeping the broken system, the one that's been working for them all these years, in place.
If you don't care why would you comment?

You voted for a lunatic. Don't blame me for not being willing to roll the dice on a lunatic despite despising his opponent's policies.
And BH that Obama has been gridlocked since 2010. But had Rubio been up there now the Rs would easily sweep the house, senate, and presidency and be able to make some real changes.

Here's what one person just sent to me...

Therein lies the problem.

It's a pointless waste of time (except for the fun).

Anyone even imagine that in the down ballot it won't be Yvette Clarke, Jesse Hamilton and Chuck Schumer?

Mendy Reitport doesn't stand the slimmest chance (and is therefore not supported by the local PAC, as it would be pointless - rather stay on good terms with the Ds).
I've been waiting over 5 years with bated breath for someone to say that!
