It's not really a comparison. Over 55,000 ppl died in a time when the draft was going strong. It was a concern for Republican and Democratic parents and siblings who were terrified of losing their loved ones.

I have no problem with ppl protesting but theirs nothing legit here.

Try and look at it from their perspective. Not if they are right or wrong. Women fear there right to choose is threatened. Illegal immigrants fear getting deported. Gays fear their right to marry will be taken away. Muslims fear it will be open season on them. Millions fear their healthcare will be taken away and the list goes on. You don't think these are passionate enough issues to protest about?

Now we got to the real issue-you disagree with them. We know that and that is why you voted the other way. They have different political views than you. Why does that meant they shouldn't protest? Your arguments are as insincere as theirs.

Nope. He won't bend because of liberals, it might actually make him double down. ( He may not have any intention of doing anything that he promised but not because of the protests)
