You can take it as you wish, but I did not mean it as a no for either. I have seen the claim that it was a trumped up prosecution but could not find that backed up by hard facts even on the liberal sites. Some comments attributed to him are disturbing but denied by him.

One interesting thing I noticed is how all the liberal sites are invariably calling him Jefferson Beauregard Sessions III

One of the racist claims against sessions is that he supposedly called a black member of his staff "boy" and told him to be careful how he speaks to "white folks." Sessions says he does not remember calling him boy but as for the "white folks" comment, he says he told the guy, "be careful how you speak to folks."

I don't know whether he's lying or not, but I do know that it is possible to say something innocent and be perceived as a jerk.

Like, the "boy" thing. Did he say, "Watch ya mouth, boy!" or did he say, "Boy, these hot wings sure are spicy. I can't finish them."

Is there something about the term "boy" that has to do with skin color? I saw that and cannot figure out how it is racist unless it is just talking down to him which would then need to be something he did not do to whites for it to be racist.
