This had nothing to do with what kind of racism was claimed. As soon as trump won the media ran with this theme that all of a sudden racism was exploding all over the country and went with stories that were not verified at all and therefore it was no shocker that it turned out that some of their headline stories were completely false.

100% true (though BHO won the Nobel Peace Prize before he even had an opportunity to do anything good or bad).

You are right. It is exremely sad that some feel such a need to paint Trump as having empowered bigotry that they have caused enough false reports of racist attacks that people now view them with skepticism.

With the common denominator being that the President can't do anything to affect the market over the long term and therefore it cannot be used as a metric of the President and his policies. Hmmmm... I've heard that somewhere.

I think you're misdirecting your criticism here. In the story of the boy who cried wolf, is the village at fault for growing skeptical of his endless claims? People have been burned badly enough times to now be a little skeptical when the hue and cry is raised over an easily manufactured claim. In this case, it's certainly no shocker that MSM was shoving this in our faces because of their personal agendas and got it totally wrong.
