Injection, snorting, smoking, inhaling... anything works faster than swallowing. Even smearing on your mucous membranes.

She may or may not have a serious health issue, I'd put it at 50/50. Hardly a conspiracy theory.

I do not like Hillary, but I would not put this at 50/50.

There are many non-serious medical issues that can cause coughing, including hyperthyroidism. I can see why the campaign would try to hide this, because it just wouldn't reflect well on her. It's something that happens most commonly to elderly women, and she would be given the title "old woman".

As for a serious medical condition, I would say more like 10/90 chance.

For a while already I have felt that her facial expressions remind me of my grandmother when she was at the early stages of Alzheimer's, but that is really meaningless. The only thing which seems strange is that video of her head shaking. The rest is confirmation bias.

It does seem very strange that she jokes about her health, mocks those who question it, calls people conspiracy theorists...but doesn't actually respond to the questions abut her health. Very Clinton-esque.

Also, in regard to conspiracy theories...once you start realizing how man conspiracies there actually are, being a conpsiracy theorist actually seems like kind of a good idea.

I mean, if someone had told you 5-10 years ago that the government would be listening to everyone's phone calls, recording them and storing them...you'd say they were a conspiracy theorist. It's only a crazy conspiracy until it's made public.

I agree with the idea, but the example is pretty bad.
If you ask me it was pretty obvious the government could/would be listening/recording all phone calls.
They always had the capability to do it, and laws like the Patriot Act let the government get away with whatever they wanted.

The fact is that most conspiracies are a load of trash.

UFO's, JFK, 9/11... You name it. Conspiracy theorists merely look for things that you can't DISPROVE so that their conspiracy sticks. They very rarely offer actual undisputable evidence that their theory is true.

As for the NSA, it has always been known that the Patriot Act enabled them to do this legally. Nobody knew to what extent they were doing it, but I would NOT say "it's a conspiracy" if you had suggested this before this was leaked to the public.

There is a simple way to disprove conspiracy theories: the government is TERRIBLE at keeping secrets, just look at their record. Do you believe they can keep such high profile secrets?

Without getting involved in the health issues debate, aesthetically it is terrible for her, and it overshadows any message she is be trying to get out.

If she can't find a way to control the coughing, I can't see her winning.
It would probably have more impact than the Nixon/Kennedy TV debate.
