Thread summary:

Trump walks in a room.

1. Moshe123 shoots at him because he is pure evil, 2. ilherman+hachover jump in front of the bullets because Trump is our savior. 3. aygart tackles Moshe123 because Trump is better than HRC, 4. but Baruch can't stand Trump so he tells aygart he's crazy and Trump is a madman. 5. ExGingi would like to point out that who cares what he is, all that matters is the supreme court nominations. 6. Dan and others aren't really sure how this makes them feel plus they don't really want to drink poison. 7. Spoiler alert: Moshe123's gun was empty, it was just a blank.

And Freddie is in the back of the room just cooking his cholent. Until he announces that there are TWO menu choices, Pareve Cholent or Vegetable Lasagna. While etech0 figured out that they are both poisoned.

Repeat x100.

And then Hilary walks into the room with the most confidence a candidate has had in recent history. She is so confident that she eats both the Pareve Cholent and Vegetable Lasagna. Everyone is the room is aghast, they don't know how this happened, could it be Comey is behind this poisoning or was it that her Obamacare premiums were to high to get her the help she needed.

Everyone stared as she choked and was cast into oblivion on November, 8, 2016 the last day she was heard from in the public eye.

Moshe123, ilherman, hachover, Baruch, ExGingi, Dan, Freddie, etech0, and the rest of America are in total shock and hope that so long as Trump doesn't eat any Pareve Cholent and Vegetable Lasagna and stays true to his supreme court nominees this may be the greatest thing to happen since the CSR and GC's.

But remember this may be the beginning of the end...

P.S. Thanks to cognitive dissonance aygart, Michael Moore, and Scott Adams knew the whole time that Trump could win, unfortunately for JTZ he may be off DDF for the next 4 years due to his mandatory 3 times daily consumption of CROW!

As things turns out, the most prescient view on this election was that of Michael Moore! Though Scott Adams is also claiming a high view level of prescience.

880 is still reporting on that made up story with the Muslim college student that claimed she was attacked. Unbelievable.

It's pretty low of them to skip the traditional First Couple photo with the president-elect.

The Bushes graciously posed for several cordial photos with the 2 of them, and welcomed in the Democratic leadership into the white house. And the Obamas could not do the same in return? They couldn't take 30-second photo of the 2 couples together to calm the public attitude?

Get ready for 4-8 years of imaginary attacks. They will vandalize their own property and post pictures of it. They will post heartbreaking accounts of their encounters on the train, at the store, at school, etc.

Remember that their entire ideology is boils down to a self-righteous persecution complex. It really is a mental disorder.

yes, that ^ ^ , plus the "entitlement" that they've all grown up with for the past 8 years (one-third of their lives):

"I'm entitled to have only my opinion heard, and nobody else's.
I'm entitled to space that will not have any other perspectives other than mine.
I'm entitled to protest everything that the gov't is doing legally and still expect them to cover my expenses.
I'm entitled to housing, free health insurance, and all types of freeebies. Plus USA must keep illegal, criminal aliens here in our sanctuary cities even if they are intentionally hurting our citizens and harming each other.
I'm entitled to hang out, chill, spend 6-months camping in "Occupy Wall Street", and not advance my career, pay my bills, or actually work to help myself and my family."

These are the same Occupy Wall Street personas who want it all to come to them automatically.
The same "white-shirts-and-suits", whose taxes are paying for their benefits, are the ones that they want assassinated or knocked down a few notches.

I've been wondering since before the election, what happens to Trump's businesses once he's President.

Top elected officials traditionally put their investment portfolios into a blind trust, to avoid any semblance of trading on non-public information, or even worse but not usually likely, making policy decisions that can result in personal financial gain.

I don't know if we ever before had a president that had active businesses such as Trump does. A blind trust is obviously not an option. What does he do in order not to be bogged down by daily ethics accusations? (Along those lines, I think that estate tax repeal is going to be quite low on his priorities, as it is not seen as a tax policy directly affecting growth, and could definitely come to be questioned on personal gain grounds).

Maybe he should just continue whatever he's been doing since his campaign started.
I have no doubts that he was not managing his businesses, just take a look at his touring schedule.

What's amazing is that this stuff has been going on in Israel (Gaza and West Bank) for the past 10 years. The world ignored it and played along. It now has moved to western civilization. I guess it is similar to the whole terrorist situation. For years the world ignored what was happening there. Now it is happening here. Wasn't there a video going around of Bibi predicting this years ago?
If the trend continues, soon we'll have Muslims (or Mexicans) claiming that the Statue of Liberty, White House, etc is really there's and has been theirs since the beginning of time.

It really does make you look like a cold hearted jerk when you lack sympathy for the guy who is crying. How do you explain that he is crying over a delusional fantasy? Therein lies the rub. Maybe the world will find out.

That is not true, however, for all Orthodox communities in Brooklyn. Leaders of the Satmar Hasidic sect, which has its urban base in the Williamsburg neighborhood, endorsed Mrs. Clinton. While some election districts in Williamsburg had a majority of Trump votes, it was not as lopsided as in Borough Park. In Crown Heights, where the Lubavitch Hasidic community is centered, some election districts also showed a majority of Trump votes.

Mr. Trump’s daughter Ivanka, who converted to Judaism when she married her husband, Jared Kushner, an Orthodox Jew, made a splash shortly before the election when she visited the grave of the Lubavitch leader Menachem Mendel Schneerson. A cellphone video of her visit went viral among Orthodox Jews in the area.

“It resonated with people,” said Avital Chizhik-Goldschmidt, a journalist who often writes about Orthodox issues. “The biggest joke in the Orthodox community right after the election was that Chabad won over Satmar,” she said, using another term for the Lubavitch movement. “The rebbe’s blessing worked and the Satmar endorsement didn’t.”

Orthodox Judaism preaches the importance of strict moral behavior, but Mr. Stern said that he was not dissuaded by Mr. Trump’s very public peccadilloes, such as his multiple divorces and a recording of him talking about groping women.

“I think that’s not appropriate but I think he’ll handle better the situation of our country now,” Mr. Stern said. “I don’t really care that he’s not a model.”

Ms. Chizhik-Goldschmidt said that the Orthodox judged non-Jewish politicians differently.

“I don’t think people expect gentiles to follow those rules,” she said. “People are not looking to the United States president to be a representative of some sort of morality in the way that other Americans might. People are looking for a strong leader, a tough leader.”

Why was voting for Trump a problem? Because they asked the question “What does my vote say about me?” And their answer was that voting for Trump was tantamount to endorsing his beliefs and behavior, which put them on the wrong side of how they wanted to see themselves, and wanted their friends and colleagues to see them, too. But those who voted for Trump answered that question differently: How they voted was not about endorsing the worst of Trump but about the future of the country. Indeed, in focus groups we did this year, as well as anecdotally, Trump voters were better versed and more keenly aware of Trump’s warts than repelled and consequently undecided voters were. And while most had not favored Trump at the beginning of the election season, they were convinced that the gravity of this turning point for our country superseded their concerns about Trump’s flaws.

Quote
Expanding the base — Trump appealed across party lines. The GOP political class assumes that one should either stick to the base or modify GOP policies to sell them beyond the base; this assumption missed the mark. This is a longstanding Republican error: The Left develops and feeds various narratives that connect emotionally with voters in the middle (and mouth conservative talking points while campaigning), while implementing policies for its base. The Right talks policy to the base but offers no narrative, explanation, or emotional connection, so voters in the middle do not understand or trust their intentions. The Right then attempts to shift its policies to get enough support to win, thereby losing the trust of their base as well. See: Rubio, Gang of Eight. Trump is not Reagan, but he blindsided the establishment in the same way Reagan did. And elites will be as condescending about him as they were about Reagan. Trump has addressed broad issues and shown that he could empathize with many voters’ deep concerns. As Scott Adams explains it, Trump “paces” the public, “he matches them in their emotional state, and then some.” After earning voters’ trust, Trump pulls most everyone along to a place of broad agreement. Many of his voters may need to be introduced to a wealth of policy ideas and solutions, and the conservative world would do well to talk to them — more effectively, let’s hope, than it has in the past, as noted above.

Curiously, how do you know it wasn't Trump who didn't want the photo op?

Also, there isn't really a "public attitude". There is the craybaby media, and then there are the PAID protesters, sponsored by communist George Soros. If you think these "protests" are spontaneous, you haven't been paying attention.
