Because the millions that now have health care outweigh the negatives. You don't look at these things in a vacuum.

A lot of those millions that have health care now, only have it because they legally have to. I for one would rather be uninsured than have to pay the ridiculous premiums that ACA made for me. The middle class was hit so hard by this. Yay! The lower class is now all insured. They were all eligible for medicaid already anyway

I wasn't pointing out the negatives per say, was just pointing out that the numbers of "millions" now insured is very misleading.

Take me for instance. Middle income bracket, not worth it for me to get insurance, because the premiums just don't pay off. BA"H I'm a healthy person, and don't believe I need it. Now though I'm "forced" to pay $250+ a month for something I don't want, which is going to cover every person in america with a preexisting condition which jacks up the premiums even more

C"v, buts that's my own perogative if I don't want insurance. Why should the rest of america pay for you? And they definitely shouldn't be forced to.

I understand what you are saying try to understand what I am saying. I have four kids and would mortgage everything thing I have to make sure they get proper medical care. Is it to much to ask for them to get insurance?

No. But I've found that my father isn't doing any better after ACA either. He also has kids and a mortgage. Lol. But honestly he used to have a pretty decent plan from his employer, but now since ACA mandated certain things, that plan has reverted to the most basic, where deductibles were through the roof! So much so, that he threw all of us kids off, claimed us as independents and put us on medicaid! that's how bad the plan was

That's the whole point. Except for preexisting conditions everyone was able to have insurance.( And btw if you had insurance before the condition you were able to get onto any plan )

Indeed so. But your failure to give them a proper financial education doesn't constitute an obligation on rest of taxpayers to foot the bill.

Until someone needs a doctor who didn't participate
