The A-Sisi regime definitely has no quip with Israel, and wants a strong Israel at its border. Looking at all their borders and neighbors, they're probably most comfortable with the Israeli border and having Israel as a neighbor, and couldn't care less about Jerusalem, but they need to grandstand as well, for their own internal security as well as the security at their other borders. All players in this game are fully aware of this.
