I dont get what your statement about Israel has to do with this. Its true. They shot unarmed individuals. If i dont retort with "but there were others who were armed" that makes me complicit in what you said? Its a non-sequitur.

POTUS cannot be complicit or called a racist because he didnt condemn her. If failing to condemn makes one complicit the goalposts are at infinity. In Hebrew we call that אין לדבר סוף.

It definitely tells you something about the person, it just doesnt necessarily tell you that the person agrees with the comment. There are other reasons that a person wouldnt condemn a comment even if they themselves dont agree with it. Maybe they dont want to alienate their supporters. Maybe they are stubborn narcissists that cant admit fault even with people that are associated with them. These are not great qualities but it still doesnt mean that the person agrees with the comments made.
Bottom line: I agree with you that Trump should have come out against the comments of Roseanne. I disagree with you that remaining silent is an exhibition of agreement with the racist comments.

That's fair. Are you basing this on just this one comment or on all comments that he has made in the past that many think were racist?

There are other reasons that a person wouldnt condemn a comment even if they themselves dont agree with it. Maybe they dont want to alienate their supporters.

So yes, if a proven anti-semite says something negative about Jews I will view it as anti-semitism.

I was merely giving alternative reasons why he might not condemn the statements. And I was really referring to him alienating supporters by criticizing one of them, not by condemning an obviously racist comment. It is really irrelevant whether he would actually alienate supporters by condemning the statements.

I can scour the web with the facts, like the Iran deal, dealing with Bibi/Israel, deep relationships with hardcore anti-semites, etc.

In my opinion, the President has to put US first, then important allies, and enemies last.
The Iran deal was a terrible deal for the US and even worse for an important ally.
