Nothing changed with this meeting. Maybe future meetings will accomplish something but this was a nothingburger. I am really surprised you would try and spin this for something it isn't. Trumpsters I expect that from.

And what does that mean? Watch below 1:54-5:20. You can ignore all the politicizing Vice likes to do. The main point is that the 2 sides have been using the word denuclearization differently.

Stop with the non-sense. We made concessions before getting CVID. Nothing has changed. Please show me anywhere in this agreement where CVID is addressed other than a promise to something both sides have a different meaning of (denuclearization).

Trump says Kim agreed to CVID. Denuclearization of any kind cannot and will not happen over night. Kim can sign a hundred agreements and promise the world but it means nothing if he doesn't want to keep his promises. Trump gave up nothing but a promise to end military scare routines, and in return got what the US and it's allies wanted, and promises of more things they desired.

If Kim doesn't keep his word, will it shock anyone? No. The bottom line, it all comes down to trust, if Kim backtracks, or doesn't act to the world's satisfaction, everything will go back to the way it was. (Similarly, when I sign an agreement with my Chinese suppliers, I know the document means nothing. It's just giving me their word in document form with no legal backing.)

Trumps take - "I do trust him, yeah. Now will I come back to you in a year, and you'll be interviewing, I'll say 'Gee I made a mistake'? That's always possible, George. You know, we're dealing at a very high level, a lot of things can change," Trump said.

Lots of details to still work on, though still a tremendous success to get this far.

Right now they are only on hold during negotiations. That sounds reasonable. They can be rescheduled the day things turn south. The exercises were only grandstanding anyhow. A lot remains to be seen. The one thing this was not is a nothingburger. Either it was a horrible travesty or an amazing thing. That remains to be seen.

US position is CVID. You and the rest of the Trumpsters have failed to show where in the agreement this is addressed. SK already got them to agree to denuclearization of the peninsula. The agreement just repeated that nothingburger.

Where in this agreement has anything changed in regards to CVID?

Meeting with Kim and getting promises to disarm is a tremendous success, getting back the prisoners, the remains of POW's, etc. You have to be blind if you don't realize the success so far.
