He may be right about that. It doesn't make much of a difference though either way. The only court which counts is the court of public opinion.

This may bring campaign finance laws back to SCOTUS.

What the statue says has nothing to do with public opinion. Public opinion will tell how much they are willing to put up with the Presidents lies. Do Trumpsters even have a breaking point?

An admitted lier pleads guilty to something which is not a crime. And accuses the POTUS of directing him to do the nothing burger crime. And the media is having a frenzy. The President is going to be impeached!

No, he did not commit a crime. And even it is a crime (which it is not) who is the witness? An admitted lier.

If not for the TDS the media suffers I wouldn't even believe that this is real.

Statute is only relevant for prosecution. Long standing DOJ policy is that a sitting president cannot be indicted.

Agree like they did with 18 counts against Manafort. They didn't make up the crimes, they overcharged. Here they want us to believe the prosecution made up crimes and the defendant pleaded guilty to them. No fair minded person is going to believe that.

The existence of campaign finance crimes are real. That does not mean that this fits the bill.
